So in other words, each individual JW is allowed the god given right to judge you based on his or her leanings... Guess they are equal opputurnity shunners, eh? Thanx for your input!

Not Baptized but still Shunned
by Devils Advocate inwas wondering what the offical rule is from the wt on family members who were never baptized but left the cult.
an example would be a child who is raised in the lie and then as a teenager stops attengind meetings and tells his/her parents "i won't ever be a jw.
" true to his/her word, that teenager grows up outside the cult.

I kinda wonder why they aren't holding one foot up and looking at their shoe soles saying, "Yechhh! Look at all this mud on my shoe!"

I guess toast since it won't fall apart in your coffee or milk or orange juice like a buscuit will. I personally prefer saltines to dunk in my milk. Doughnuts for my coffee. Buscuits for my gravy. Toast for my jelly. Coffee cake is good for coffee too especially if it's a few days old and kinda stale. But then that remeinds me of JW assemblies as a kid so I dont go there too often.
Do you really drink tea in the morning? Is that a rich person thing or do all Texans drink tea in the morning? The rich people in Missouri all own Krispy Kremes so tea is definately out. LOL -

How do you handle JWs interacting with your children?
by Nosferatu inthis has been on my mind lately.
i'll probably end up having kids in the near future, and i would not want my mother preaching to my children.. so, i must ask, how do you handle your jw relatives who try to preach to your children?
how do you deal with a "gift" like my book of bs?

In Missouri we eat Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the a.m. w/our coffee 'cause they give free samples when you go in the store.

Where do we go for .....?
by RR inback in the old days, one could go down to 360 furman street and pick up wt literature, at a price.
then when it went to "donation" basis, you could still pick up literature, but you were limited.
i remember picking up the cd rom at the "book store".

If it really does violate their non-profit status (and I'm no attorney so some real research would have to be done) the Internal Revenue Service would be the best organization to contact. They love to audit religous groups who "cross the line." And, of course, I'm sure there's quite a few of us here who would love to see the IRS audit the WT Society one more time...lol

You raise an interesting point. If ignornace saves souls then the Jerkhovah's Wintesess need to stop preaching.
It reminds me of something blasphemous I often say about abortion when someone close to me thinks I need to hear "Jesus' point of view" on the subject. Orthadox Chrisitianity teaches that when a child is aborted he/she goes directly to heaven. So if that were true, why do the churches oppose abortion? Wouldn't it be better if we aborted EVERYONE and then no one would have to face judgement day because they would have bi-passed Adam's sinful inheritance from the get-go.
I'm being facetious of course, just in case anyone doesn't unsterstand tongue-in-cheek.
